Plant Pakistan is a nationwide environmental initiative aimed at restoring the country’s forests, improving ecosystems, and tackling the growing threats of climate change. The Government of Pakistan established this program which aims to plant trees on a big scale while restoring land and protecting biodiversity throughout all Pakistani territories.
Climate change presents Pakistan as one of its most susceptible nations because the country experiences increasing heat along with decreasing water resources and recurring floods and soil degradation and deteriorating air quality.
